Frida Kahlo

 1907 Frida Kahlo was born in the Casa Azul ( Blue House ) in Coyoacan, a small town outside Mexico city.

1913 Aged six, Frida becomes ill with a serious disease called polio. It leaves her with one leg skinnier than the other

1925 A bus crash Leaves Frida with a lot of painful injuries While she recovers she takes up drawing a painting mainly herself

1928 Frida sets off with her paintings under her arm to meet Diego Rivera, Mexico´s most famous artist. They fall in Love and marry the following year.

1931 Frida lived in the United States until  1934. She misses Mexico terribly.

1931 At an exhibition, Frida meets Georgia O'Keeffe, by then one of America's most famous artists. The two women become friends.

1938 In New York City, Frida had her first solo exhibition. It's a big success.

1939 Frida paints The Two Fridas, one of her most famous pictures Like all her work, it shows how Frida is feeling 

1940 As her health gets worse, Frida has to spend more time in bed, but she keeps painting

1953 At Fridaś first solo exhibition in Mexico, she is so sick she turns up in an ambulance and has a bed set up in for her in the gallery  

1954 Frida died aged forty-six. As time passes, she becomes more famous, and her paintings sell for millions of dollars around the world.

Frida didn’t always want to be an artist

:Instead, she was fascinated by the sciences and biology, and dreamed of one day         becoming a doctor.

She painted her injuries and disabilities

:One of her most famous paintings, The Broken Column, shows her shattered spine looking like an earthquake fissure. Another, Without Hope, shows a time in her life when Frida had lost her appetite, so her doctor prescribed the force-feeding of a fattening puré every two hours.

She is now a LGBTQ icon

Her openness with her sexuality she was bisexual and her unisex dress at times has made her an iconic figure in the LGBTQ community. Her fierce pride in her Mexican roots have also made her a source of pride for many in her culture.

What Can We Learn From Frida?

Frida loved color. Her house, which she shared with famous Mexican muralist Diego Rivera, was a striking royal blue. Reds, oranges, yellows, and greens are found even in the unhappiest of her art. More than that, she dressed in brightly colored clothing and cut flowers fresh from her garden to wear in her hair. Frida’s life, no matter how painful, was vibrant and full of laughter and brightness. We can all learn from the way she Has one Of the hardest lives ever but still somehow makes it Vibrant and colorful

 The Old testament

Noah's ark

1.The story of Noah and the ark is God wiping the world of sin and Noah and his family building an ark and surviving the flood knowing that he was the only one that did not sin against god he was spared from the wiping of the flood .If you are wondering, God gave Noah instructions and materials to build the ark but this had taken a very long time to build and some people started to call him crazy but Noah tried to warn them but they had not listened and still thought that he was a natter and still sins to god.And when the rain started to pour it was not light it was very heavy hail like rain and so it had rained for forty days and nights. After the rain had started to flood the rivers the ark had started to float on shallow water he stared to send a dove out every day to see if the bird came back then the flood is still there if it doesn't come back the flood is over after it was over noah promised to never ever do this again because of human sin.

David and the Giant

As the peaceful village where threatened by this army with this massive giant and then the people had started to panic and then the kings sons had wanted to face the giant and free his people from slavery and brutalty these were very scared people who wanted nothing but freedom but that freedom was blocked from the army that wanted to put there incent people to slaves.

As the king had started to think and then the youngest son had wanted to face the giant and then all the sons had not wanted to face the giant named goliath and so young David had tried on the kings armour and that was to big so David decided to get 3 smooth stones from the river but nobody knew what he was doing so before the fight David had decided to pray to jesus so his friends and family could survive this monster!

          So then David had decided to  face the giant and then he wen to golithe and he swung his sling and then the stone had hit right in the middle of the 

Moses and the   Egyptians

skull right in between his eyes and that had killed the massive giant and then he had won and the army had flee to wherever they had come from.

3.one day Moses saw an egyiptian beating one of his people and he told the soldier to stop but he had just wiped them both and then he had felt sorry for the people who had  fallen to thismisrble King that had no mercy for anyone! And then God had gave moses a plan to save his people from slavery so he had a plan but he did not know when to do it and the God gave him the time and every thing and as the had just made it out they where being hunted down and then there was a huge ocean depper than anything anad they where stuck and they did not know what to do and the ejiptios where on there tail and they about no time and then Moses had prayed to God and then God had split the the ocean in half making a path through the massive ocean and then they had sprinted to the end of the path and then they could see the ejiptions and then they had crossed it and the God had let the ocean free and drowed the Kings army!
