Multiplying Decimals workings

 8 x 7.6

8 x .6 =4.8

8 x 7=56

56+4.8=60.8

So you have too break down the decimals so the 7.6 will be .6 then you have too times it by the base number (8) 8 x .6 is 4.8 then times the whole number 8 x 7 = 56 56 + 4.8 =60.8
