 Mixed and improper fractions

Mixed is a better way of saying a proper fraction one that works .

And improper fractions is one that does not add up like if you had a 4/9 it dont work like that they way to fix that is make it mixed by is by taking away the holes. there are two pizza with four slicel on them then .there is a half left over you grab that which is 2 sow the answer is 2/9 because you add the 9 on the back.

History of fractions

 Fractions did not start in roman. It really stared in Egypt they way they did it was with  pictures. The way they did it was 1 10 100 1000 10000 100000 a similar way to how we did it. and did you know they didn't do it for numbers or maths they used it for half things. So if they cut it into 10. They would write cat that is not true but a way of showing you how they did it.
