Anzac reading Friday

this blog is about anzac day and the war the countries fought on april 15 1915 in gallipolli.  The most interesting part  was how many people died . There was over 250000 soldiers killed in this war there were alot of new zealanders and australians in that death toll. I also found interesting how they got their landing wrong how could they not tell they were going to land on a steep beach area it was a bad move because the soldiers at the top had a better chance of killing them

1. It took 1 hour of trials to get it to work. We had to alter the layout to fix the problems in our project.

How to plant a flower 

Materials

Flower seed 

Watering can

Dirt 

Plant pot 

water

First grab your plant pot then half fill it with dirt. Put your seed in the pot then put dirt on top of that . Then fill your watering can up with water, then wet the dirt till it looks damp all over. Continue wetting it forever until its fully grown and then dies.

Instructions: You are going to write a list of detailed instructions on how to make cereal for breakfast.  You are writing these instructions to someone who has never made their breakfast before. You will need to make sure they are detailed instructions that give step-by-step directions.  Use the example on the class site to help you with setting out instructions.

Tip - You could try voice typing the instructions. Close your eyes and speak the instructions. E.g. First take a bowl out of the cupboard and place it on the bench.

Toothbrush, water, toothpaste, basin and a mouth

Instructions: 

Run the water from the tap for 10 seconds.

Grab toothbrush and put under the water

Grab toothpaste and open lid on toothpaste 

Turn paste upside down and put toothbrush underneath 

Squeeze the toothpaste out onto brush

Push the lid down on toothpaste and put it down.

Grab the tooth brush then put gently into mouth and brush for two minutes.

Spit the paste into basin

Wash toothbrush under the tap

Put toothbrush into toothbrush holder

Not all poppies are red. They also come in yellow, orange, and other colours.

Poppies are considered a symbol of both sleep and death. According to Greek
and Roman mythology, poppies were used on tombstones to symbolize eternal sleep.
They also symbolize the blood for fallen soldiers on the battlefields of war.

 During World War One, the poppies disappeared because of the trampling
and bombing of the battlefields. The destruction actually stopped them from growing
for four full seasons. After the war was over the poppy began to bloom again. According
to reports this historical growth was spectacular, with 2,500 poppy seeds per square foot found.

The Poppy Campaign in Canada was inspired by Canadian Colonel John
McCrae's famous poem In Flanders Fields and by American Moina Michael who pledged a
year prior to wear a poppy as a symbol of the fallen.

Poppies have a long history in human civilization. They were already
grown as ornamental plants since 5,000 BC in Mesopotamia.

Once upon a time there was a boy named Jacky Jacky Chan his best skill in his life and
his best accomplishment was learning how to do nunchucks.  20 years later he had a kid
his name was fatty fatty Chan, lots of kids at his school bullied him for his name. One day
he woke up and went to his dad's garage. There was a dusty old box in the corner he opened
it and it was his father's prized nunchucks and a note which said if you are reading this i am dead.
He thought for a second that his dad was going to give him this nunchucks just before he died he had
an idea to go to his school with the nunchucks and then the boys came along and started calling him
fatty fatty chan fatty fatty chan. ´´Donk

¨ the boy was knocked out of his misery the teacher
came along and said principal's office now he walked to the principal's office
and saw his dad the principal left the room chan did you take my nunchucks yes said
chan why said jacky because there was this boy that built me every day why did he do
it i don't know he he called me fatty fatty chan sow i knocked him out with the nunchucks so
he would leave me alone ok chan i understand then they lived happily ever after.
